Fitzroy, Melbourne

Fitzroy is a suburb located in Melbourne, Australia with hippy cafes and little shops owned by a whimsical artist community. The brand identity depicts the quirky murals and vibrant architectural colors, with bright orange paired with shades of teal and beige to add a little shade of mystery.

Throughout the project, I visited Fitzroy multiple times alone, to soak in the unique atmosphere and to visit their famous art markets. After observing the streets and the fashion of the people in the area, I felt like chonky, block sans serif fonts paired with bright orange as a main color to represent the vibrance of the suburb.
