Hand Pinched Ceramics

Once a week, I attend hand pinch pottery workshop to destress and unwind. Even though the end products tend to look delicate, the process of creating ceramics are actually quite labor extensive and time consuming.

I learned to be patient, to give the clay more time to be slowly hand morphed into a shape that I desire. Also learned to pay attention to every single procedure, every little detail, because a tiny change or carelessness will all be reflected onto the final piece.

There are still a lot to learn, and I am happily still taking classes and honing my skills. Below are some of the pieces that I poured my heart and soul into, and luckily they turned out pretty decent :)

Flower plate (瓷土、化妝土)
Candle Holder (黑土、貝青)
Floral Trinket Dish (黑土、茶葉末)
Floral Trinket Dish (黃土、鉻錫黃)
